TRAINING WHILE BOARDING
Unique to our facility, your best friend is able to continue training during the day or while boarding at Blue Dog Ranch. Socially challenged doggies have the option to receive proper training and socialization throughout the day in one of the training houses with David and his qualified assistants. DAY CARE
Dogs must have a previous history of social interaction with other dogs, i.e., attend other daycares or play with large groups of dogs off leash. All dogs must be extremely social, not all dogs are eligible.
Our daycare rate is $30 per day. Daycare charges apply only to same day stays. If your dog boards with us and is picked up after 12pm, you will be charged a full boarding rate ($50) for the day of pick up.
Daycare is available Monday – Friday. All daycare is done by appointment.* Daycare is not available during Holiday times.
Daycare pups are on the same rotation schedule as our boarding clients.

Initial passing of our daycare evaluation does not guarantee your dog will be able to attend daycare indefinitely.
OUR FACILITY
Blue Dog Ranch Training and Boarding offers 24-hour care by our well-trained staff and covers almost an entire street block. We are conveniently located near Warner Brothers, Disney Studios and the Burbank Airport, close to the 5, 134 and 101 freeways and only 5 minutes from downtown Burbank.
We provide a ranch like setting with a variety of large and small, indoor and outdoor play yards, a specialized doggie pool and lots of beds and pillows to snooze on. Your cuddly canine will spend the night in a large, suite-like, indoor enclosed area, with the option of heated flooring. Our facility is well protected by block walls and double gates – making it impossible for even the “escape artists” amongst our dog friends to get out. We offer coyote proof fencing which in our case is designed to keep doggies inside instead of coyotes being able to “break-in”. Boarding your beloved pooch with us, will give you more piece of mind than having a dog walker coming to your home and potentially letting the dog out accidentally. To make sure your doggie stays cool during the hot valley summers, we offer mister systems throughout the facility and air conditioning in addition to our large doggie pool.
Your doggie will be “tested” for friendliness with other dogs and will be paired up accordingly in our playgroup. Small dogs and large dogs are always in separate playgroups. We also offer quiet, private lounge areas for our senior dogs, so they can enjoy a relaxed stay. We offer short and extended stays, which can range from just one day up to several months. The options are endless.
We want to ensure the health of each pooch at our exquisite doggie ranch. Therefore, we require proof of annual vaccinations. In addition, all dogs over one year of age are required to be spayed or neutered. All doggie guests entering our facility must wear a snap or buckle collar with proper identification tag with your contact information.
